Counseling can be helpful for many people, but it isn’t the right fit for everyone at every stage of life. It works best when someone is open to reflection and growth. If counseling isn’t the right support for you right now, we will help you explore other options that better fit your needs, even if that means a referral elsewhere.
-
We currently accept United Healthcare, Aetna, and Medicaid. For all other insurances and self-pay, we can create an out-of-network SuperBill.
-
Absolutely. Many clients choose private pay because it offers more flexibility, greater privacy, and control of the timing of your sessions. Sometimes it can even be less expensive than your out-of-pocket cost using insurance. Without insurance limitations, therapy can be fully shaped around your unique goals and needs, without the pressure of diagnoses being shared with third parties.
-
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. The length of counseling depends on your goals, the challenges you’re facing, and the pace that feels right for you. Some clients come for short-term support to work through a specific situation or transition, while others choose longer-term counseling for deeper healing, personal growth, or ongoing support through life changes.

Yes, please discuss fee options with your provider. We don’t want finances to be a reason for you not to receive the care you need.
